I grew up on a small farm in Northwest Arkansas. I’ve been horse crazy since I got my first pony at the age of two. I grew up helping my Mom and Dad take care of cattle, horses, and poultry on the farm. After graduating high school I attended Oklahoma State University (Go Pokes!) and completed a Bachelor’s of Science in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology.
My farming background and love of animals led me to veterinary school at Oklahoma State. I graduated with my D.V.M and moved to Lexington, KY to complete a one-year internship in equine medicine and surgery at Rood and Riddle Equine Hospital. In 2012, I married my vet school sweetheart Toby, and we moved to Texas to be closer to our families.
I completed the postgraduate Animal Chiropractic program at Parker University in 2013 and I am certified in Animal Chiropractic through the American Veterinary Chiropractic Association (AVCA). I love having additional tools to help my patients feel their best.
Last year we purchased a home in Springtown, and we love the small town life. In my free time, I enjoy riding my Quarter horses “Dori” and “Poptart” and hanging out with my Australian Shepherds “Possum” and “Lola”.
I’m very excited to be at Town & Country Veterinary Clinic and look forward to meeting you and your four-legged family members!
